Reborn or Newborn
Reborn is the art of removing or painting over the paint from a factory painted doll and replacing it with a new more life-like paint application. Newborn is the art of a life-like paint application on raw unpainted vinyl or other medium.With that said- the term Reborn is used and has been accepted by reborn artist as a standard way of referring to these life-like babies no matter pre-painted or unpainted vinyl.
